Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Catechesis of the Good Shephers (CGS) is a Montessori approach to the religious formation of children ages 3-9 years old.  Classes take place on weekdays and last approximately 1 hour.  Under the direction of Lori Carter, the CGS program at Christ the King provides a gentle, hands-on way for children to learn about the Mass, Sacraments and the Bible.  Sessions begin in the fall, and the cost is $35/child.

CGS Catechist Training

St. Eugene's is sponsoring CGS Level 1 catechist training at Christ the King, June 16-19 and July 7-10, 2011. Level 1 part 2 training will take place in 2012. Total tuition cost for Level 1 part 1 training is $125, and a $50 tuition deposit is due by March 31, 2011. The tuition balance is due the first day of training.
