An extensive network of Christ the King parishioners receive a weekly list of the prayer requests of those who visit our parish, are members of our parish or who live in our community and are aware of the network. These prayers are compiled each week by Kathy Arambula, who receives the prayers via telephone, email, in-person requests and the prayer box located in the church. The list of prayer requests is then sent to the prayer network by email and the regular post. Many people have reported feeling or sensing the prayers of others. The prayerline was instituted under the leadership of then-pastor Fr. Joseph Ross, who liked to point to the fact that there were no deaths in the parish for the first six months that the prayerline was in effect as an illustration of the power of prayer.
