Sunday Religious Education Classes
Religious Education classes for children age 3 through 8th grade take place during the school year on Sunday mornings, following the 10am Mass. Register your child/ren for Sunday RE Classes by contacting Cindy Rice at 843-4766 or

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
CGS at Christ the King is a Montessori approach to the religious formation of children ages 3-6 years old. Classes take place on weekdays and last approximately 1 hour and provide a hands-on way for children to learn about the Mass, Sacraments and the Bible. Sessions begin in the fall.
Sacramental Preparation
Children in second grade prepare for their First Holy Communion (and First Penance) during regular Religious Education classes or during Religion Class, if attending Christ the King School. Parents attend a First Penance Seminar and a First Communion Seminar so that they may help their child/ren understand and experience the fullness of God's presence in the Sacraments.
Children may begin the two-year preparation for Confirmation in 8th grade or in high school. Classes are held on Sunday mornings, following the 10am Mass. To register your child for Confirmation Classes, please contact Cindy Rice at 843-4766 or
