Join Archbishop Coakley on Sunday, June 1st for the 4th Annual Eucharistic Procession from Christ the King Catholic Church to St. Eugene Catholic Church (2400 W Hefner Rd., Oklahoma City, OK 73120).
The procession will begin at 2 p.m. from Christ the King, proceeding through The Village, and concluding with benediction in the main church of St. Eugene. Light refreshments will be available following the conclusion of the event in Ross Hall at St. Eugene. We have more information here.
Knights of Columbus Scholarship
The Knights of Columbus Council 12669 is proud to offer the Jim Weinmann Bridge Scholarship to alumni of Christ The King School or parishioners of Christ The King Church who are attending Bishop McGuinness High School or Mount St. Mary High School for the 2025-2026 school year. Students who are interested in applying should fill out an online application. The application should include a short essay in the student’s own words explaining the value of a Catholic education for today’s high school students. The deadline to apply is July 31, 2025. Winners will be notified in early August.
Christ the King will host an OBI blood drives on Monday, June 30 from 2-7pm in the atrium. All healthy parishioners who are at least 17 years of age with valid photo ID are encouraged to donate. Be sure to have a good meal and be well-hydrated before donating blood.
Are you getting married? Register now for our upcoming Marriage Preparation Retreat. Marriage preparation is your opportunity to spend time focusing on the issues that will most likely have a major impact on your lifetime relationship with each other, and there are several options available to you. Our marriage preparation coordinators have helped countless couples to discern and develop the skills to enable them to grow in communication and intimacy, equipping them with the tools to make their sacramental union a healthier and more fulfilling relationship for the long term. Attendance is limited so early registration is recommended.
A minimum preparation period of six months is required for all Catholic weddings taking place in the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City.
Weekly discussion meeting of parishioners who are reading the same book. The group alternates between contemporary and classic books. Each book is read and discussed over the course of 6-8 weeks.
Parishioners volunteering for the Feed the Hungry Ministry provide items to feed the poor and homeless on the fourth Sunday of each month. Those helping with this family-friendly outreach program may sign up for the item(s) they plan to bring and deliver those items to the Junior High parking lot at 11:30 am on the assigned Sunday morning.
