Christ the King will host a Lunch & Learn on Tuesday, October 15th from 11:30am-1pm, hosted by Scott Staton of Staton Financial Group, Inc. The topic will be "Understanding Medicare and Taxes in Retirement." Scott has shared his thoughts as a guest on News 9 and has written a book called Saving for Saturday about saving for retirement. The annual Trunk-or-Treat Fall Festival will take place from 4-5:30pm on Sunday, October 27, 2024. Join us in a fun, safe environment! We'll have activities for the kids, a bounce house, obstacle course inflatables, a photo booth, food & drinks, trunk-or-treating and a cake walk! To have a successful event, we will need some help. All CK women are invited to join us at 7pm on October 17 for Blessings and Bunco. Bring $5 CASH to play. We will supply the beverages (wine and tea or lemonade), so please bring a snack to share. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and share how God is blessing you, as well as play Bunco. 

The next Marriage in His Image Date Night will be Saturday, October 19th, featuring the topic "Becoming a Witness" by Joe and Nancy Cipriano. To commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Christ the King Catholic Church, we have commissioned a special Christmas ornament modeled after the beautiful crown that hangs in our church sanctuary. The ornaments are $25 each and there are a few ways to pick yours up.

Space is filling up quickly for both the Women's and Men's ACTS Retreats.This parish-based 3-day, 3-night retreat, offers parishioners an opportunity to experience the love of Jesus Christ, in turn fostering a desire for intentional discipleship. ACTS Retreats are given by parishioners for parishioners, and in this way, serve to build Christian community at a parish.

The 3rd Together in Holiness Marriage Conference will be held at Christ the King Saturday, November 9th. Together in Holiness is a a marriage enrichment initiative that inspires couples to grow together in holiness and empowers and equips parents to form their children in the Catholic faith. As we celebrate our Jubilee Anniversary we give thanks to God for Christ the King Parish - church and school. God has blessed us, multiplying the fruits of hard work, the treasures shared, and the investment of time and prayer throughout the years by countless parishioners to make Christ the King a special place to worship, educate children, and instill a love for our Catholic faith into all who call Christ the King home.
