Children's Formation

Faith Formation is an integral aspect of any church community and our staff and catechists are excited to share the Catholic faith with the children of the parish. 

Our mission at Christ the King is true discipleship, that all of our parishioners will know and love our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our hope is to partner in the good work you have started in the home so that, as you continue to foster your children's love of the Catholic faith, we can support you as the "first catechists". Indeed, home is often referred to as the “domestic church” because what is learned in church will be internalized only if it is lived at home. Thank you for the opportunity to share in the faith life of your family.  The religious education of our children begins at home because it is at home that they learn about life and love. 

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a Montessori-based educational approach to the religious formation of children from three years old through second grade. 

Family Faith Formation is a catechetical program for families with children in preschool through 5th grade. Not just lessons for children, this program includes adult formation that teaches, encourages, and provides parents with tools to share the Good News and the beauty of the Catholic Faith with their children.
