As part of Christ the King's celebration of our 75th Anniversary, we will host a parish-wide Conference on Hospitality, featuring speaker Sheri Wohlfert, whose topic "Entertaining Angels" will encompass Catholic Hospitality.
Our churches are truly the Father’s House! Making our parishes places of radical hospitality is perhaps one of the most important tools for evangelization. The goal of Catholic Hospitality is to create an atmosphere that allows people to feel the welcoming presence of Christ. This training provides preparation for receiving others in the name of Jesus Christ in your parishes and homes while also equipping participants with the skills to share the Gospel with confidence and joy. Participants will feel confident in their ability to know “what to say” and develop an awareness of how the Lord is calling them to grow in faith and share the love of Christ with others.
