David Anderson is a church musician and organist from Charlotte, North Carolina, but has called Oklahoma home since 2013. His undergraduate degrees in sacred music and organ performance are from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, and his master’s degree in organ performance is from the University of Oklahoma. Currently, David is a candidate for the doctor of musical arts degree at OU, and is researching the contributions of Jewish-American composers to music of the early twentieth century. He is a frequent recitalist and musical collaborator across Oklahoma and has performed in recital across the country. His recordings have been featured on the program Pipedreams, a nationally syndicated radio program heard around the world. At Christ the King, David oversees the parish and handbell choirs and plans the music for many of our liturgies.
