Steubenville STL Mid-America is a high-energy youth conference where thousands of teens are invited to encounter Jesus Christ through dynamic speakers, engaging music, the Sacraments, small group discussions, and fellowship with other teens. Our conference is an outreach of Franciscan University, in partnership with the St. Louis Archdiocesan Office of Youth Ministry. Two conferences are held every year in July and take place on the campus of Missouri State University, in Springfield, MO.

2019 Conference Dates - July 12-14 

This Conference is open to all high school students. 

The students are asked to be at the CK school parking lot by 5am on Friday, July 12th, so that we are ready to head to Silver Dollar City for some fun.

The students will be in Springfield, Missouri on the Missouri State University Campus. The students will be housed in the campus dorms or area hotels. The floors will be separated by gender. No boys are allowed in the girls' floors and no girls are allowed in the boy's floors (this includes adult chaperones). The women chaperones will be staying on the same floors as the girls and the men chaperones will stay on the same floor as the boys. Each night the adults will do room checks to insure that everyone is safe and in their rooms. The restrooms are communal with individual shower stalls. The students are encouraged to bring shower sandals.

The conference is composed of a few main sessions and some free time for the kids to play Frisbee, soccer or football. The students will be broken up into several small groups and assigned to two adult chaperones. Students need to remain within eye sight of their chaperones at all times unless they are in their dorm rooms.

The Missouri State University Campus is a safe campus and the conference staff has procedures in place in case of an emergency. They will have on-sight medical personal in case anyone gets sick.

Estimated Cost: $200
The cost for the conference should not hinder or be a burden for any student desiring to attend.  If this is the case, please feel free to contact me. I am happy to find a mean for those students wanting to go to be able to attend the conference.

 · A sweatshirt (The arena where most sessions are held can get cold)
 · Good footwear for walking across campus throughout the weekend
 · Bedding/sleeping bag for the dorm rooms
 · Toiletries, towels and shower supplies
 · Shower shoes
 · A water bottle
